EU Project Executive

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the EU and International team in London. You will be a key player working with the team to deliver projects for a diverse set of clients/partners including government officials from 28 EU Member States. You will support on elements of project delivery including, building strong client/contractor relationships, budget management and reporting, event management, and support in monitoring and reporting on targets. 

Your strong written and verbal communication skills will be fundamental to your effective performance. Additionally, your overall project management skills including budget management, knowledge of sustainable energy and experience of event management will underpin the successful delivery of the projects. Excellent inter-personal, influencing, time management skills will be key to ensure multiple tasks are delivered to deadlines.

Communications and Digital Executive

We are seeking a Communications & Digital Executive to support the delivery of tactical marketing campaigns for the Energy Saving Trust in Scotland.

 As a professional marketer you will manage online and offline projects from initial planning and briefing through to evaluation, ensuring that activity is delivered to a high standard, within budget and timelines. You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement by sharing insights and campaign metrics.

Your ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects and achieve results is essential in this fast-paced environment. Experience of email marketing and writing skills are essential.  Experience of social media content development and management is desirable.  Building effective relationships with key stakeholders applying well-refined communication and influencing skills will be key to your success.

In addition, your knowledge of general marketing together with strong writing skills will be fundamental to your exceptional performance.

Data Insight Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Energy Saving Trust’s Consultancy team where you will be working on a wide range of innovative and ground breaking projects that assist the UK’s transition to a low carbon economy.

The projects you will be working on involve the delivery of data analysis, insight and consultancy to a range of clients including central and local government, energy suppliers, manufacturers and retailers. EST assists these organisations to understand the potential for energy efficiency and renewable energy measures; to develop more effective policies and strategies; and to assist the delivery of key programmes.

The role will be suited to a fast learner with a strong interest and demonstrated experience of data analysis, databases and GIS who is looking to develop these skills further. A good deal of training and learning will be provided on the job through working with expert consultants and via formal training where appropriate.   

As an analytical expert, the role will require excellent problem solving and data analysis skills and the ability to communicate technical information in a clear and engaging manner. As a content expert, you will be required to quickly develop an excellent understanding of the policy and delivery context for energy efficiency, renewable energy and fuel poverty programmes in order to deliver effective insight.

The job will involve working daily with a range of expert consultants in their respective fields of big data analytics, statistical modelling and GIS and you will gain valuable training and experience in the uses of specialist database software including IBM Cognos, statistical packages such as ‘R’ and GIS mapping programmes.

One of the key programmes you will be working on is ‘Home Analytics’. Through Home Analytics we bring together numerous datasets on the UK housing stock. We then apply advanced statistical and geo-spatial models to predict the potential for carbon reduction measures in every address in the GB building stock. You will contribute to this analysis, providing both analytical capability and subject matter expertise. In addition, you will provide expert input in to the presentation of this data through intuitive online data portals and maps.

You will work closely with the existing client base to ensure that the data provided is accurate and that the client is extracting maximum value from the EST services. Over time you will also attend new client meetings to interpret client requirements and deliver effective proposals that secure new projects. You will be required to write reports that are both technically accurate and engaging for clients.

You will also be required to work on a range of other bespoke projects for clients. These projects are usually data focused but can often encompass elements of policy analysis and strategy development.
