Team Assistant, Scottish Renewables

We have an opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join the Scottish Renewables team on a full time, permanent basis.  You will provide effective and efficient administration and high quality customer support to help deliver a number of small scale renewables, energy efficiency and resource efficiency programmes, funded by Scottish Government.

You will spend approximately half of your time helping to deliver and further develop the green networks for homes, businesses and social housing, for example you will help to recruit new members and manage the membership lists, arrange visits to properties, draft case studies, help with organising events and shows, and report on activity.

Another key part of your role will be to contact renewables installers and help them to join the renewables installer finder tool on the Energy Saving Trust website, as well as contact installers already listed to encourage them to update their online profile.

You will also support the team with a variety of critical administrative, customer service and research tasks including: maintaining information on the website and databases, organising events and meetings, reporting on activity, supporting the Home Energy Scotland advice centres with customer enquiries, assisting with financial processes and carrying out research to ensure customers and staff are well informed.  

Overall business administration skills and strong customer service skills will underpin the successful delivery of this role.  Your ability to plan and prioritise work is essential in this busy environment, along with demonstrated effective communication skills and the ability to advise and influence others.

Critically, we are looking for someone who is motivated and passionate about the sustainable use of energy and helping the public.

WPD Outreach Advisor

Salary: £16,458 per annum, fixed term 1 June 2016 to 31 December 2016

We have an opportunity to join the Energy Saving Trust Advice Centre Team in Cardiff, to deliver general energy efficiency advice to householders, helping them to save energy at home and reduce the cost of their energy bills.  

You will be required to conduct outbound calls to customers who are on a Priority Services Register and undertake home visits (throughout south, mid and west Wales) to customers who are vulnerable due to reasons of health, property or situation.  You will also be required to meet key partners and arrange and attend events to promote the project in order to increase customer sign up to the Priority Service Register.

Your ability to plan and prioritise work is essential in this busy environment, along with your solid experience of providing telephone and/or face to face advice and delivering customer service to a high standard will prepare you well for this position. Your team player and enthusiastic attitude will ensure your success in reaching time-bound targets.

As there is regular travel across south, mid and west Wales, a valid clean full UK driving license (held for at least 2 years) is required and a DBS check will be required.

Data Management and Reporting Officer

We have an opportunity for you to join the Advice Centre team. As a data expert, with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with SQL, you will help us deliver Welsh Government Programmes, in particular by managing and reporting on the information for the Nest programme. You will analyse and manipulate data from multiple sources, produce regular management information, provide guidance and advice on CRM system and liaise with the advice centres, EST teams and delivery partners.

Your ability to plan and prioritise work is essential in this busy environment, along with demonstrated effective communication skills enabling you to convey technical information to less technically orientated audiences. Your experience in creating management information reports and ability to manipulate and analyse data (primarily using Excel, Access and CRM) will be critical for your success.
