Welcome to the Energy Saving Trust Wales
Here to help you save energy, money and the environment.
We provide free, impartial advice on how to reduce your carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and save money.
Current status of solar PV Feed-in Tariffs: The Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC) have now released their response to solar FITs fast track review confirming that anyone installing solar PV as of 1 April will need to ensure their house is up to an EPC band D or higher. Still no confirmation for those installing between 12th December 2011 and 3rd March 2012 though we recommend planning for a 21p/kWh rate until the legal challenge is resolved.
