Case Studies

We’re already working to support a number of businesses across Scotland.

Read these case studies to find out how our guidance can help your business grow and make the most of upcoming opportunities.

As well as supporting individual businesses, we run larger scale events focused on providing training and sharing knowledge and expertise. To find out more, read the case studies below.

Local Homes Portal

Local Homes Portal is a tool developed with the support and funding of the Scottish Government and the European Commission as part of the Request2Action (R2A) project.  The tool was designed to help suppliers (and other groups) understand the energy efficiency and renewables market in Scotland.

What data and information is contained within the tool

The tool contains important EPC information on housing attributes and energy efficiency such as property type, age and tenure, wall insulation, energy consumption, CO2 emissions, EPC current and potential bands and EPC recommendations.  This data is available down to the data zone level and is presented in maps and spreadsheets, both of which enable you to filter the data based on your own business requirements.

How can I access the tool?

You can access the tool here . When you visit the page click on ‘members of the supply chain’ and follow the instructions to join.

When selecting your level of data access, please choose option  1: EPC reports and maps.

Once you have submitted your form you will then receive an email containing a one-time link that will allow you to sign in and create your own password.

Once you log in for the first time we suggest you read the documentation for the tool, including the user guidance and data dictionary.
