The Scottish Government is offering owner occupiers, private and social tenants and private sector landlords up to £1,200 towards energy efficiency measures that are recommended in the Green Deal assessment. Up to £500 is available for insulation measures, up to £400 for a boiler and up to £300 for other measures (such as glazing, LED lighting and heating controls).
The flow chart below shows the stages that need to be completed in order to receive funds under this scheme:

| Arrange for a Green Deal assessment to be completed for your property (we recommend you get 3 quotes) and decide what recommendations you want to implement for your home. |

| Your cashback voucher will then be sent to you via e-mail (or post) if you don't have an e-mail address. Check the eligibility criteria and terms and conditions to confirm you are eligible for the cashback scheme. |

| Proceed with works (we recommend you get 3 quotes) and make sure the installer completes the cashback voucher once work is complete. You will need to get the works completed within 12 weeks of the date of your voucher. |

| Pay your installer for the work |

| Arrange for an EPC to be completed for your property to prove that works have been completed. This may automatically happen if you are also taking out Green Deal finance. |

| Send completed cashback voucher and receipted invoices to EST. If these are satisfactory payment will be made directly to your account within 25 days. A list of frequently asked questions is also available to help with any queries you may have. |
