What is the Home Insulation Scheme?

The Home Insulation Scheme is Scottish Government funded and local authority endorsed, and is delivered by the Energy Saving Trust. It will offer energy saving advice and measures to up to 100,000 households across ten areas of Scotland between November 2009 and the end of March 2010.
On Monday 9th November, the Scottish Government announced that top-up loft insulation will be free of charge to those with existing loft insulation, irrespective of the size of the loft.

Depending on your circumstances, you may be able to get help from the Home Insulation Scheme and/or the Energy Assistance Package.

Home Energy Assessor visits finish in your area on 31st March so act now to benefit from the scheme.
