discover a green home near you

From renewable energy technologies to simple energy efficiency measures, there are many ways you can make your property greener – and save money on your energy bills.

The only difficulty is deciding which options are best for you. That’s why we set up the Green Homes Network – to give you the chance to see for yourself what life’s like with a renewable energy system.

We have more than 700 members in the network, from traditional family homes, to beautifully designed, sustainable eco-builds. It means that whatever technology or energy efficiency measure you’re interested in and wherever you’re based we can arrange for you to visit one of our members in your local community.

The Scottish Government has also put together the Greener Homes Prospectus; full of handy examples of how to work towards a greener home.
