Free technical support for Salix loan applications
The loan scheme is a strictly time-limited offer of interest free loans for the public sector in England, administered by Salix Finance. Although it's going fast, there is still a good opportunity to access this valuable free money to accelerate your emissions reduction plan. The Carbon Trust understands that many organisations want to apply for these loans but do not have the resources or expertise to complete an application. To overcome this CT have appointed a consortium of expert technical advisors to provide free technical support to public sector bodies wishing to progress Salix compliant projects ahead of their loan application. The current call closes on the 31st of January. Councils can take advantage of this free offer but both the support and loans are offered in a first come first served basis. If there are specific projects you believe can be implemented in the next 9 months CT may be able to help you get them off the ground. If you think Carbon Trust technical support assistance would be useful, contact us by e-mailing Loraine.moore@briarassociates.co.uk For further details on the loans scheme visit the Salix website
