Solar PV Installer Accreditation

Solar PV Installer Accreditation

The DTI's Low Carbon Buildings Programme started on the 1st of April 2006 and replaces the DTI's Clear Skies and Major PV Demonstration programmes.

The DTI has set up a new independent accreditation scheme which takes over the responsibility for the accreditation of products and installers authorised to install systems under the Low carbon buildings programme. The new Microgeneration Certification Scheme was launched in April 2007 by BRE Certification. For general information please visit this website

The Energy Saving Trust formally closed the accreditation of new Solar PV installers at the end of March 2007.
