The search is over to find Britain's Green Voice 2009
The votes have been counted and the winner of this years Green Voice of the UK 2009 is Piper Terrett from Essex.

The Energy Saving Trust wanted to find someone who could speak up for the 'man on the street' on green issues - become Britain's voice on 'being green'. The people voted and Piper was announced the winner today at 10am at an event at Portcullis House, Westminster with Energy and Climate Change Minister, Joan Ruddock. Pipers first task was to grill Energy and Climate Change Minister, Joan Ruddock with questions from the UK public.
For the next year the Piper's new role as the Green Voice of the UK will entail:
