Free green fleet reviews
What is a green fleet review?
It is a tailored, independent review of all aspects of your fleet from an environmental perspective. It will result in a comprehensive report covering the following:
Your fleet's carbon footprint
Vehicle allocation policy
Fuel economy
Mileage reimbursement policy
Driver education
Reducing mileage - journey planning, satellite navigation, telematics
Health and safety and Duty of Care issues
What are the benefits?
There are many factors, often beyond the sole control of the fleet manager, which impact on a business' costs. Green fleet reviews identify ways of reducing fleet costs; cutting vehicle emissions; minimising local traffic and parking problems, and, often help the fleet manager to make a case for operating the fleet differently. This can lead to lower costs, greater productivity and an enhanced environmental and social reputation for your company.
Am I eligible?
If your organisation runs a fleet of 50 or more vehicles (leased cars are included), or 20 or more in Scotland, you are eligible to sign up for a green fleet review. Alternatively, if you operate a smaller fleet, free telephone advice is available to answer company-specific queries. The review will look at cars and vans up to 3.5 tonnes only.
Who does it involve?
After you register an Energy Saving Trust Key Account Manager will contact you.
