Once you have become a member and would like to register other products with the Energy Saving Recommended endorsement scheme (ESR), please follow these simple steps:

Once you have become a member and would like to register other products with the Energy Saving Recommended endorsement scheme, please follow these simple steps:

Step 1 Get product registration form

You can either download the product application form here or request the application pack by post:

Step 2 Complete the product registration form

Please fill out and sign off the product registration form.

Step 3 Gather additional product documentation

To verify that your products meet the Energy Saving Recommended scheme criteria, please provide the respective documentation for the type of product/s you wish to register:

  • Energy saving light bulbs - Independent third party test report
  • Cold appliances - Energy label A++ (original)
  • Washing machines - Energy label AAA (original)
  • Dishwashers - Energy label AAA (original) and Water consumption checked via Energy label
  • Electric tumble dryers - Energy label A-C (original, C rated require declaration form)
  • Gas-fired domestic tumble dryers - Independent third party test report
  • Kettles - Independent third party test report
  • Gas boilers - Gastec data sheet
  • Oil boilers - Gastec data sheet
  • Gas central heating controls - Product declaration form
  • Hot water cylinders - Independent third party test report
  • Cavity wall insulation - Independent third party test report and copy of 25-year guarantee
  • Loft insulation - Independent third party test report
  • External wall insulation - Independent third party test report and copy of 10-year guarantee
  • Dry lining insulation - Independent third party test report and application instructions
  • Energy saving mains controllers - Independent third party test report
  • Integrated digital televisions - Product declaration form
  • Set top boxes - Product declaration form
  • Digital television recorders - Independent third party test report
  • Glazing - BFRC Energy label A-C

Step 4 Send completed application to Energy Saving Recommended

Please send the:

  • Completed and signed application form
  • Copies of the additional company documentation

What happens next?

You will receive confirmation of membership, including:

  • High resolution versions of the Energy Saving Recommended logo
  • Certificate of Endorsement
  • Listing with the Energy Saving Trust Online Database as a Recommended Retailer

Every six weeks products are reviewed by the Energy Saving Recommended team, allowing members to add new ones, remove discontinued items, and make amendments to product listings as required.
