Green Barometer
We all know about environmental issues but what are people in the UK prepared to do about them?
Having advised around seven million people on energy saving, we already have a good understanding of consumer behaviour and attitudes on climate change. However, we want to take this understanding to the next level and understand what the publics opinions are on all green issues.
This is why we have set up the 'Green Barometer' which will serve as an index of consumer attitudes on environmental issues. This will comprise of quarterly research and will explore what motivates and influences us - and how perceptions differ from the facts.
Each quarter we will use the research to look at the following:
- Examine attitudes to green issues and behaviours
- Help us understand what positive steps people are already taking to be more environmental
- Identify gaps and opportunities
- Provide an understanding of awareness and prioritisation of green issues
- Give an insight into what people are prepared to sacrifice in order to be greener
