Our latest Green Barometer report, 'Wartime spirit' looks at the values and habits from the Second World War that are still relevant for saving energy and reducing waste today. We can learn some valuable lessons from war time practices such as 'waste not want not' and 'make do and mend'. It follows research which revealed public support for bringing back the 'wartime spirit' to help combat climate change.
