Welsh Language Scheme
In compliance with the terms of the Welsh Language Act 1993 the Energy Saving Trust, in conjunction with the Welsh Language Board, has developed the Energy Saving Trust's Welsh Language Scheme.
In order to respect the language choices of our service users the Energy Saving Trust has adopted the principle that in the conduct of public business in Wales it will treat the English and Welsh languages on a basis of equality. The scheme sets out how we will give effect to that principle when providing services to the public.
Prior to the introduction of the scheme, we are conducting a period of consultation. A copy of the draft scheme is now available:
If, after having read it, you have any comments or queries, please contact the Energy Saving Trust in Wales by Monday 5th January, 2009.
