What is CAfE?

Welcome

Welcome
Community Action for Energy (CAfE) is a programme from the Energy Saving Trust that is designed to promote and facilitate local community-based energy projects.

Improving the quality of life for all

Do you want to improve your local community? Are there problems with bad housing? Is unemployment an issue? Are there high levels of debt? Are people concerned about climate change?

Community Action for Energy (CAfE) can help you improve the quality of life in your community.

A community project that promotes sustainable energy can help bring a community together, improve the warmth and comfort of people's homes, save money and help the environment.

A community-based energy project can provide new opportunities, whether you want to help people save money on their fuel bills or develop a renewable energy project, CAfE is here to help.

  • Improve the comfort and well-being of people in your community
  • Improve the general health of local people
  • Combat fuel poverty
  • Help the local economy
  • Create employment and training opportunities
  • Promote social inclusion
  • Save money
  • Help the environment

CAfE can help you make a real difference in your community.
