Major sources of funding, not adminstered by EST, which we would like to highlight include the following:
The Energy Efficiency Commitment (EEC) - This is a statutory obligation on energy suppliers with 15,000 or more domestic customers to deliver energy efficiency improvements in housing.
Clear Skies - A £10 million initiative that aims to give homeowners and communities a chance to become more familiar with renewable energy by providing grants and advice.
Warm Deal, Warm Front, Warm Homes and HEES - These programmes (and association 'plus' programmes) which run in Scotland, England, Northern Ireland and Wales respectively, aim to provide grants for a raft of energy efficiency measures to those most likely to be suffering from fuel poverty and also vulnerable to its effects.
The Scottish Central Heating Programme - This provides a package of measures including central heating to those over 60 who have no central heating. Click here to find out about the programme funding local authority and housing association properties.
