CAfE is changing...

We are delighted to inform you that we are enhancing our community offering. The highly successful Community Action for Energy (CAfE) programme will be evolving into Green Communities.

The new Green Communities programme will look to create a step change in our service to communities by offering an integrated package of advice, support and funding. It willl build on the advice and information service offered by CAfE, local outreach provided by the Energy Saving Trust advice centres and new community related services.

This will mean more free training, more resources and brand new online tools to help bring your community group together, start a project, fund it and succesfully complete the project. We want to help more and more communities take action, reduce their carbon emissions and impact on the environment.

As we gear up for the official launch of Green Communities we will be updating and developing our website and online resources. As the structure of the website changes if you experinece any problems or difficulty accessing the information you require do not hesitate to contact us.
