The Fleet Hero Awards is a highly regarded event in the green fleet calendar, celebrating excellence and innovation in sustainable business transport practices. The awards recognise public and private sector organisations that are successfully reducing fuel bills and cutting carbon emissions through their fleet operation and strategy. The last Fleet Hero Awards took place on 24 November 2016 at the London Transport Museum, hosted by Robert Llewelyn. Robert is best known for his role as Kryten in hit BBC comedy Red Dwarf and as co-presenter of Channel 4’s Scrapheap Challenge, and more recently has forged a strong position for himself as an automotive journalist and expert on low emission vehicles – launching EV web series Fully Charged in 2010.The night also featured a keynote speech delivered by transport minister Andrew Jones.
