About

Energise Wales is an award-winning free business network for Welsh companies working in the field of renewable energy, energy efficiency and those interested in diversifying in to the sector. The network offers a platform for the exchange of information between installers, assessors, suppliers and buyers of energy efficiency and microgeneration technologies and services. The network also connects the supply chain with central and local Government and regulatory bodies by bringing relevant events and speakers to Wales during key developments in the sector.

Energise Wales is funded by the Welsh Government under the Resource Efficient Wales service, and aims to facilitate networking amongst the energy community, offers free CPD workshops and training, networking events, support opportunities and insight into industry developments.

The network currently has 3,500 members who all receive the monthly newsletter and exclusive invitations to free events and training workshops running across Wales. To date the network has provided approximately 1,000 hours of CPD training to over 200 businesses.

Energise Wales Newsletter

The Newsletter is sent to the Energise Wales network every month. It includes all scheduled training events, other events and conferences relevant to the sector, news on what’s happening in Wales, Sector specific news and contract opportunities. Read the latest Energise Wales newsletter here.

Upcoming Events

All of the Energise Wales CPD events are free to attend and provide three hours of CPD learning unless otherwise stated. FREE CPD Training Workshops: Industry Updates and Changes to SAP/rdSAP

Aimed at Domestic Energy Assessors, and those with an interest in the sector, this informative three CPD accredited hour workshop delivered in collaboration with Stroma will discuss:

  • Changes to SAP/rdSAP
  • Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES)
  • An overview of Building Information Modelling (BIM)

The workshop wraps up with an open Q&A session to ask questions relevant to your everyday operations.

FREE Best Practise Tour:  Denbighshire County Council Arbed Project

In collaboration with Denbighshire County Council and Willmot Dixon the tour will showcase insulation works and project learnings from the Denbighshire Arbed Warm Homes Project. The event will feature talks from Energy Saving Trust, Denbighshire County Council and Willmott Dixon and include a tour of the site where the energy efficiency works were installed.

This best practice event is suitable for anybody working in the energy efficiency industry that would like to learn more about the delivery of large scale energy efficiency project with effective cross collaboration with other agencies.
