Motorvate

Welcome to Motorvate - a membership scheme for innovative fleet managers implementing measures to reduce carbon emissions.

If you are making improvements to the environmental performance of your fleet and/or have undergone a green fleet review, Motorvate is the next step in managing your fleet efficiently.

Designed for organisations choosing to commit to ongoing carbon reduction, Motorvate provides access to specialist advice, annual auditing and verification of vehicle emissions and opportunities to network and share information and best practice with other organisations. Progress will be measured through a certification process awarding bronze, silver and gold levels.

Motorvate is funded by the Department for Transport and the Welsh Assembly Government, and managed by the Energy Saving Trust.

What does Motorvate membership involve?

As a member you can expect the following benefits:

• Expert advice from our Fleet Consultants to help you to progress initiatives to reduce emissions. This could include support in developing the business case/change management, a review of vehicle choice lists, options for alternative fuels, smarter driving training and managing and reducing mileage.
• Auditing from our expert accreditation team and official recognition for progress in carbon reduction.
• Support and advice from our transport team including help to identify other members with similar interests and data collection assistance.
• A newsletter to find out about relevant events, policy developments and what other members are doing to reduce carbon.
• An annual members' dinner to network and recognise achievements.
• Enhanced environmental reputation and PR opportunities.
• Evidence to support environmental management systems such as ISO 14001.
