Government Office Climate Change Mitigation workshops

Over the course of September to November 2008, on behalf of the Government Office Network, the Energy Saving Trust and Carbon Trust are delivering workshops on National Indicators 185 and 186 with a focus on delivery through Local Area Agreement.

Covering the nine English regions the workshops aim to:

  • Help local authorities understand the issues and demands of the indicators;
  • Make suggestions as to how to develop a delivery approach;
  • Identify support programmes from Carbon Trust, Energy Saving Trust and others;
  • Bring together regional bodies to identify their role and available support
  • The workshops feature presentations, plenary sessions and breakout sessions (covering NI 185; NI186 Domestic; NI 186 Transport; NI 186 Business).
