Cambridgeshire Commit to "Save Your 20%"

Almost half of the United Kingdom's emissions of carbon dioxide, the main greenhouse gas which causes climate change, actually come from the things we do every day. A typical home produces six tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) per year. Energy saving will reduce these emissions by two tonnes and save up to £270.

To help Cambridgeshire residents save energy and reduce CO2 emissions a partnership of Cambridgeshire local authorities, the Energy Saving Trust Advice Centre Anglia and the County Council has been established. We're asking you to "Save Your 20%" through simple changes to your daily routine and improving energy use within your home.

Up to date 1,888 commitments have been made which if they're acted upon will save 2,556 tonnes of Carbon Dioxide, equivalent to the average annual emissions of 426 UK households
