Household Energy Efficiency

Household energy efficiency is a key area of policy activity for us.  Previously, we have recently supported the Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) and HM Treasury with the household sector part of Energy Efficiency Innovation Review, with the report from the project available here.  We are also represented on the steering group which supports Defra's work on the post-2011 Supplier Obligation and Personal Carbon Trading.

Over the last year we have also developed our policy position in a number of specific issues, including the use of the tax system to encourage greater energy saving.  You can read the full report here.

We have also been represented on the Environmental Transformation Fund Programme Board, working with Government to improve the demonstration and deployment of new energy efficiency technologies.
