'Emission impossible?' shows how we can take the first
steps towards a low-carbon lifestyle and examines how
reductions to our personal emissions can help the UK
meet the demanding 80 per cent target.
'Emission impossible?'- is also the first step towards the
Energy Saving Trust's strategy. The ambitious goals set
out here will shape our activity for the next few years,
as we begin to focus on making this vision a reality.

This report summarises the work undertaken to build and then iterate a Market Transformation model (MTM) for low carbon vehicles in the UK. The Energy Saving Trust market transformation model is a consumer choice model, which predicts the take up of low carbon passenger car technologies (e.g. hybrids, fuel cell vehicles, electric vehicles etc.) in the UK market.
