Water Siphon

Water is a precious resource, and with a changing climate - especially dry winters - which increase the risk of droughts and shortages, we need to be more careful with how we use water, and to make sure it lasts.

In the garden a sprinkler can use as much water in an hour as a family of four will use in a day, which is why hosepipe bans come into force in the summer.

This clever hand siphon pump by WaterGreen enables you to recycle used and grey water into your garden - for example from a bath, water butt or pond - even during a hosepipe ban or Drought Order. Put one end in your bath, water butt, or pond, connect the other end to a hose, squeeze the pump and let gravity siphon your waste water onto your garden.

It moves water simply, cleanly and affordably. It can also be used to empty cisterns and blocked sinks. It stores neatly and can be used at any time.

NB To work, your garden MUST be lower than the water source - probably at least 12 inches. The water flow is faster the bigger the height differential between the source and end of the hose.

Nigel Says:

In addition to the water saving benefits, it will only be a matter of time before all UK homes are charged for water based on how much we use - so re-using water with this water siphon can save money too.

Price around £19.99
