The decision of Fuel Cell Magazine to feature Viaspace's HS-1000 Fuel Cell Humidity Sensor in its December/January issue has helped boost the profile of a device which is already generating significant marketplace interest, it has been reported.
According to Viaspace chief executive Dr Carl Kukkonen, it is an "exciting time" for the company.
As well as appearing in Fuel Cell Magazine, the HS-1000 has also recently been the subject of a study performed by a major manufacturer.
In the manufacturer's report, it was suggested that the HS-1000 is superior in all respects to other humidity sensors.
"With energy needs increasing, fuel prices rising and emissions reaching critical levels we are leveraging our expertise to provide fuel cell test equipment, fuel cell cartridges, and new products and applications designed to conserve energy and reduce emissions," commented Dr Kukkonen.
"We are actively pursuing the aggressive strategic plans for our energy division, ramping sales of our current products and pursuing new products and applications with short to medium term market potential."
