A green fleet of buses that run on chip oil have helped Wales' first five star activity centre boost its environmental credentials.
The Preseli Venture Eco Lodge uses bio-diesel, which results in lower vehicle carbon emissions, in its green transport for guests as part of a range of environmentally friendly measures.
Marketing manager Claire Carlile said: "We transport them [customers] to their adventures in buses that run on local bio diesel made from used chip oil, we put on a free bus and train transfer to the lodge to encourage people to use public transport."
She added: "We've found that we have a growing client group that consider eco credentials as part of their decision making process, so we're as much responding to demand as following our own hearts and environmental beliefs."
Using the alternative fuel emits less vehicle carbon emissions directly than fossil fuels. It is also a way of re-using waste oil and its production is less carbon intensive than fossil fuels.
