Members of the pubic are being given the chance to have their say on a new wind energy project in Wales, it has been reported.
The scheme in Neath Port Talbot will involve the building of up to 100 wind turbines by Nuon Renewables, according to thisissouthwales.co.uk.
If given the green light by the Department of Energy and Climate Change, the project is expected to generate up to 300MW of electricity for the National Grid.
Speaking about the consultation, Nuon Renewables' regional development manager Stephen Holdroyd told the website: "Ongoing consultation with the local communities is a key commitment.
"We want to recognise all the potential benefits - financial, social, and environmental - that this development can bring to local communities and local businesses, whilst also fully recognising and tackling concerns and issues that people will have."
Located near the city of Swansea, Neath Port Talbot is the eight most populous county in Wales.
