Scrutiny Review on Climate Change

Nottingham City Council undertook a major scrutiny review on climate change during 2005-06. The review and subsequent report re-energised the Council's commitment to tackling climate change. It examined how the Council and its partners were helping both to reduce Nottinghams CO2 emissions and prepare for the likely impacts of climate change. The final report contained sixty recommendations which spanned all Council Departments and a number of other agencies. The Executive accepted almost all of the recommendations. Overview and Scrutiny Councillors continue to monitor implementation of the recommendations.
