Working with Housing Associations
Housing Associations can make significant carbon savings with the support of the Energy Saving Trust advice centre Wales
The Energy Saving Trust advice centre has an expert team dedicated to providing support to housing associations across Wales.
We are working closely with Community Housing Cymru to develop joint activity and support for housing associations. Our aims are to raise the profile of sustainable energy at the highest level amongst housing associations and to highlight the importance of improving housing stock, providing community leadership and helping tenants to save energy.
Our work includes
- Awareness raising events for board members and senior staff
- Assisting with policy and strategy development
- Support for project development, including facilitation and securing funding
- Signposting to other sources of Energy Saving Trust support including the Practical Help and Best Practise programmes
