David Saddington, North East Young Climate Champion
From: 27 October 2006
David Saddington, the North East's Young Climate Champion, has committed to change his energy wasting habits to show his support for Energy Saving Week.
David Saddington says: "Getting involved in the campaign doesn't have to mean a huge change in lifestyle. Simply changing the small things you do every day can help to save energy, money and the environment.
Committing to save 20% of the energy you use on a daily basis is as easy as turning the thermostat down by 1 degree, turning appliances off standby or replacing one lightbulb for an energy saving one."
David has encouraged his friends and family to join in the campaign and commit to save 20% of the energy they use, and is inviting people in the Tees Valley to follow his example.
